The Evzones are an elite ceremonial unit of the Greek Army that guard the Greek President's residence and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (pictured) in Syntagma Square, next to the Greek Parliament in Athens. They are known for their traditional uniform featuring a woolen fustanella kilt and the particularly slow and stylized movements they perform. The grand changing of the guards ceremony on Sunday morning including the whole guard and a military band is a major tourist attraction.
